Brandy and her boys

This is my friend, Brandy. She is the mother of these two precious boys, Whitten and Titus. She only has a few more weeks until she is no longer just a mother of boys. No longer just a mother of trucks, dinosaurs and wrestling all over the house. She's gonna also be a mother of pretty princesses, colorful hairbows, Barbie and the color pink. Only a few more weeks until she has a girl !! And I, for one, cannot wait!

Yesterday, we loaded up and took some back roads to find some very cool spots to do some maternity shoots of her and the boys. Earlier in the day Whitten told me he wasn't going to smile because it made his eyes hurt. SO...I loaded my camera bag with Pez candy and bribed him and his brother with candy and ice cream. The ice cream to be given AFTER pictures were done and ONLY if they smiled. :) Mission accomplished.

Brandy, thank you so much for letting me take the pictures of you and the boys. I hope that you like them. :) I also want to apologize if the boys had a late night last night because of all the sugar that they consumed during the session. I secretly find it really funny. You know I am so excited for you, Nathan and the boys and cannot wait for this little girls appearance! So here is your "sneak peek" and I'll have your gallery up in a few days.

The Hunt is on for Senior Reps!

It's the beginning of that time of year! Right now I am on the hunt for a few Senior Reps to represent Ashley Allen Photography at their school. I need a rep from all Katy High Schools, Brookshire, Sealy, Fulshear, and Smithville ISD.

For being a Class of 2009 Senior Rep you will get a free session, super discounted rates on your photos, a hilarious t-shirt and a chance to make some money by signing people up for sessions! For every person you refer to Ashley Allen Photography that actually goes through with a session...you will be paid! How easy is that? I'd say that's free money!

I would like all Senior Rep sessions to be completed before school starts! Give me a call or shoot me an email....there is only a limited amount of spots!

Matt and Cari (and Ellie too!)

On Saturday morning I had the pleasure of meeting Matt and Cari for a maternity session. They are just a few weeks away from becoming a family of 3 when their little one makes her appearance! We had a good time driving around their town finding fun little places to document this time in their life. Cari's tummy is so precious....she literally looks like she ate a basketball. She is so tiny and is just all belly!

Matt and Cari, thank you so much for a wonderful morning and for letting me take pictures of this precious time. Soak up every last bit of this because it will all be over before you know it! It was so nice to meet you guys and I wish you nothing but the best! Good luck and I can't wait to meet Ellie!

Nikki

A month or so ago I got the opportunity to take Nikki and Jasons engagement pictures. Just a few weeks ago Nikki and Jason got married in Las Vegas. Looking at the pictures of their big day I know it was a fabulous one. They were surrounded by the people that loved them most...their family and close friends.

It wasn't till right after they got back that Nikki got the chance to slip back into her beautiful wedding dress. We met up in our hometown and did her bridal pictures. We had so much fun! Well, minus a few ant bites and some toothless people who drove by and wanted to take pictures of her with their camera phones. Good times, good times! ha! Poor girl, I paraded her all over town and put her in the most random places....BUT every picture turned out great!

Nik- Thanks so much for letting me do this. You were a BEAUTIFUL bride and my camera absolutely LOVES you. I do too. :) I wish you and Jason nothing but the best.

The Sweet "M" Family

Early Sunday Morning I ventured down towards the Galleria to meet up with this sweet little family. Miss Q just turned 1 and we were going to do some one year pictures along with some family pics.

It was beyond humid outside and by the time we got out of the car and took the first picture, we were all starting to sweat.....and this was at 8am! Gotta love Texas weather! :) We still managed to have a good time and get some really sweet pictures! Even Miss Q was such a troooper!
